Advertorial

An advertisement which is designed to have the appearance of an editorial. Advertorials are normally labelled as “Advertising” or “This is an advertisement”. Similar in practice to an infomercial. A print or web advertisement designed to look like a news story. It is a paid advertisement that is designed in such as manner that it gives the impression of being an editorial rather than advertisement. The television or radio equivalent is known as an infomercial”.
